LOAN TERMS
A loan agreement is written between Sadel Deal Sverige AB 559473-2082 and the borrower when borrowing a saddle at home. This is so that you can try the saddle at home, for possible later purchase. Valid ID document is required.
By signing the agreement, the borrower is aware that he/she is fully responsible for the loaned saddles during the loan period and is therefore obliged to exercise the necessary care.
A fee of SEK 100 per loaned saddle and week is charged to the borrower and paid to Sadel Deal at the time of loan by Swish or card.
You can borrow a home Max. 3 saddles at a time. Max. 3 consecutive loan periods per customer.
The loan period lasts 7 days. from the day you pick up the saddles. That is, if you pick up the saddle on a Monday, it is expected back the following Monday.
The borrower must check the borrowed saddles and report any defects at the time of loan. The saddles are photographed by Sadel Deal.
The borrower undertakes to notify Sadel Deal of any damage to the saddles during the loan period. The borrower is also aware that any damage must be replaced with the amount needed to restore the equipment to the same condition as when it was loaned. Patches and labels that come with the saddle may be removed during a test ride, but must be attached before returning the saddle. Missing labels will be charged SEK 100.
If the borrower does not return the saddle after 7 days, a late fee of SEK 500/day per saddle will be charged. If the saddle has not been returned 10 days after the start date of the loan, Sadel Deal has the right to charge the borrower full compensation, i.e. the saddle's sales price. All thefts and suspected fraud will be reported to the police.
Loaned saddles are listed in the agreement with brand, model, serial number, price and any deviations.
Tips for handling a loaner saddle
Keep in mind that you, as the borrower, are fully responsible for the loan amount during the loan period.
- The saddle should be kept locked and in safe custody.
- Remove all other equipment after riding.
- Use the saddle cover when storing.
- Use full calfskin stirrup leather in the same color as the saddle.
- Keep the saddle dry and clean but do not polish it. We will do that when it is returned.
- Dry with a clean cloth/towel.
- Avoid riding in the rain. Use the saddle cover to and from the riding stables.
- When returning online, pack the saddle in the same carton and seal well.
- It is not permitted to make adjustments such as changing the boom/re-stitching during the trial period.
